One of the 5 P’s of Life is “Profession” – your work. It’s what you do for a living – whether you work for a company or self-employed.

If you’re not satisfied with your work-life, then take control and make changes. Set goals for this aspect of life by stretching your skills and expanding your network.

Every Wednesday, we offer tips via Twitter to help you with your work-life. Below are tips we tweeted last month.

If your suggestion is ignored at team meetings, then push a little harder with thoughtful questions to engage conversation.

Be courteous to your co-workers and move to a private area when taking personal calls at work.

If you feel you haven’t been compensated sufficiently for your work, then track your contributions and start the conversation for a raise with your manager.

Refrain from taking your technology frustration out on your IT helpdesk – they’re there to help you and can only do so when you calmly explain your issue.
